I tweeted a question to my followers asking about neo-soul artists both underground and mainstream. I always find myself on a quest for more music. A couple of my followers tweeted a bunch of mainstream artists that I had already heard of, but one tweet caught my attention. It was about an underground artist by the name of Joonie. Now off rip I'm like, "What the fuck is up with the name?" After listening to his music though I must say his talent speaks volumes. The name doesn't matter. I don't know how late I am on finding out about this artist and I really don't care. Lol point is I discovered him.Joonie's debut album, "Acoustic Love" is reminiscent of something that Musiq Soulchild or D'Angelo would put out. Real soulful. I enjoyed hearing the CD. I even listened to it from beginning to end and I RARELY do that! It's evident that Joonie has his own style though. That's something so hard to find in today's music. You always hear someone trying to imitate somebody else. FIND YOUR OWN STYLE DAMN IT!! Lol but back to the main topic. My favorite joints are "So Fly" and "Love You More".
